Visa & Entry Requirements

Most nationalities need a visa to enter Vietnam. You can apply for an e-visa online (valid for up to 90 days, single or multiple entry) before your trip, or get a visa on arrival if you have an approval letter. Citizens of some countries (UK, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and others) enjoy visa-free entry for a limited number of days — check the latest exemption list before booking, as policies change periodically. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your entry date.
